SPAULDING FAMILY SCHOLARSHIPS
2024 Application Guidelines

Scholarship Amount: To be determined.

Application must be postmarked by May 30, 2024.

Scholarship shall be awarded at the Family Reunion scheduled for the first week of August 2024.

Scholarship applicant requirements:
-
Academic Performance - (High School Senior or Adult Student)
-
Must be a Descendant of the Benjamin and Edith Spaulding Family.

Must be accepted or enrolled in an Accredited College, University, or Community College
-
Specify Involvement in extracurricular activities / Community Service

A Letter of Recommendation by school counselor, teacher/professor or principal

3 Required Essays

Scholarship will be awarded to applicants upon proof of acceptance and enrollment at the College, University, or Community College.

High School Applicants- A transcript from the high school and enrollment certification from your College/University must be submitted with the application.

College Applicants-A transcript and enrollment certification from the applicant’s College/University must be submitted with the application.

Please submit application between January 1, 2024- May 30, 2024, you will be notified by June 30, 2024 if you are a Scholarship Recipient.

Scholarship Recipients must abide by the following in order to continue receiving Scholarship funds:

Volunteer 10 hours each year you are awarded the Scholarship. You may volunteer on any BESDA (Benjamin & Edith Spaulding Descendants Association) Committee in order to encourage involvement in BESDA affairs.
