Retired Educators Honor Students

These outstanding middle school students were chosen by their schools: Duffy Weldon, Booth Middle; Brady Meyer, Rising Starr Middle; Sierra Sturgis, Flat Rock Middle, Jaedyn Tiller, Whitewater Middle; Samuel Ellis, Bennett’s Mill Middle.

This annual luncheon held in May is one of the highlights of the year.

Sierra is the daughter of Michael and Sheree Sturgis and the granddaughter of Dallas and Shirley Smith. She received honors from the Retired Educators in Fayette County, GA. Sierra was the only student in her school to receive this honor. She was chosen by her school. Sierra also received a plaque for scoring 100% in Reading on the CRCT Test which is given to all schools in Georgia.
