On behalf of the members of the Benjamin & Edith Spaulding Descendants Association, Inc. (BESDA, Inc.), I would like to extend heartfelt condolences on the passing of our cousin, family member, and friend, Slade Campbell. Cousin Slade was a much loved member of our family. Looking back over the past years of family activities and initiatives, we are so pleased that he participated in our family oral history project. Cousin Slade lived through a part of the dynamic history and legacy of our family and we are so proud and pleased that his story has been documented on video tape. God has many ways of reminding us that the beautiful spirits who have touched our lives soar higher and farther than we would ever imagine, all the way to perfect peace and freedom with Him. No one can take away the pain and loss you must feel, but hopefully you can take comfort in the knowledge that your loved one is at peace with God, and one day, you'll be together again. Sincerely, Vincent M. Spaulding, President Benjamin & Edith Spaulding Descendants Association, Inc.
