Mrs. Etta Beatrice Moore Spaulding

Mrs. Etta Beatrice Moore Spaulding, 79, of 211 Rico Road, Clarkton, NC, died Tuesday, January 18, at The Angel House in Whiteville. She was the wife of the late George Franklin “Tagen” Spaulding. The funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 22, at Zion Tabernacle Church, 2565 Jenkins Road, Whiteville, by Reverend Gregory Spaulding.

Burial will be in the Mitchell Field Cemetery. Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at which time the family will receive friends. Viewing will be at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service, and there will be no viewing after the service. Surviving are sons, Lynn D. Spaulding of Whiteville and Terry F. Spaulding of Clarkton, NC; daughters, Georgia E. Spaulding of Clarkton, NC and Carmel Spaulding of Angier, NC; brother, Bartie “Pete” Moore of Whiteville; sisters, Evangeline Braxton and Naomi Masei of Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472.
